I was checking out Serebii.net, and I found a picture of Giratina, and he looks...different. He looks like a centipede-esque dragon head...thing. Looks awesome, though.

What does everyone else think?

Just looked, and...quite cool! I can imagine Giratina using this form to tunnel through the ground. I always suspected they wouldn't leave Giratina looking as lame as he did in the games (not that I don't like Giratina, he's one of the six D/P Legendaries that I do like).

In fact, I might incorporate this into my hack at some point...

According to this, its other form is visible when it moves between dimensions...As in, when it uses Shadow Force? How can we see that form in a game if it moves through dimensions?

There could theoretically be a game where you get to go to Palkia and Dialga's respective dimensions. And actually, isn't Turnback Cave in a parallel world to ours? So Giratina should really change in the game. However for my hack, I'll borrow the DEOXYS form-changing script from the meteorites in Veilstone and apply it to the Phantom Bridge. (Yeah I realise you don't know what the Phantom Bridge is, but if you play the game when I've finished it you will.)

They could make a third game in the 4th gen, with Giratina in that form. Also, it could be like Emerald with Rayquaza. This woulde especially make sense, since gira is a kind of opal.

Actually, I've never heard of a gira opal. The only gira I know of is a Lithuanian beverage with a tiny amount of alcohol. So low in fact that it is safe for consumption by children (nice stuff, I have to say). Nintendo have copyrighted a number of names and many are speculating on their implicatons. WhiteGold may reference to Arceus, Giratina or Regigigas, whom all have golden bands on their bodies, Opal and Amethyst may refer to Darkrai and Cresselia respectively and DawnGold and DuskSilver are supposedly the predicte GSC remakes, as Ho-Oh is represented by the sun (and effectively dawn) and gold, and Lugia by the moon (and effectively dusk) and silver.

The name you're looking for is 'girasol opal'; try googling that. The red stones on its wings are supposed to be girasol opals, on which its name is partly based. I'm fairly sure that Giratina will feature on the third game and that it indeed will be called Opal.

As for this new form, it's pretty interesting. Personally, I like the form we know more; I like its stance with its imposing legs.

. However, I had a feeling that they were going to do that. How else are you supposed to get all of those 2nd gen Pokemon without a GBA, and Colloseum or XD.

It's highly probable that there will be a Gold/Silver remake of some sort. I've said the opposite in the past, but then I learned that there is coding in Diamond/Pearl for a pokmon's summary to note that it came from Johto. This is similar to notes in RSE that a pokmon came from Kanto (FireRed/LeafGreen).

It's probably, but those definitely aren't the box arts.

Every time a pokémon is featured on a cover, its the whole body; Ho-Oh has a tongue; the title is in Japanese but all the other text is English.

thats awsome. jus plain awsome. I REALLY hope those wern't fake. and giratina is horrible. he is dum no mater what form he's in. It doesnt matter though and as you can see from my icon.
