Gelatop: Let me tell you a story. Start off by going to jepe.ptreasures.net/demo.php , download it, play it.

Many moons ago, 8 people got together on Serebii's forums and decided to start a fangame called Pokémon Treasures. They thought that they could just do the idea-making and leave the programming to some other people.
Five years later, this is how far PT has got. Because they never bothered sorting out the programming, it's only coming together now, thanks to the dilligent work of FMY, and the perhaps less intense but still appreciated.. *works out where sentence has got to* me.
Me and FMY have learnt Java and coded, mapped, and programmed that demo there. The real thing's a little further along than the demo now. We've done it in just under a year, compared to the 4 years the original members waited. Most of them have left - I'm mostly creating the game itself now. I'm mapping and coding, making music, pokemon and trainer sprites, doing my best to flesh out their half-assed ideas.
I have little patience for those who say they "aren't good" at something. You get good with practice. Either hack a rom, learn some coding, or find a definite engine (like RPG maker, or even Jepe if you like). Sakes, even if you don't want to be a programmer, at least get good at spriting or mapping.

Eh... I'm sorry this turned into a rant. I'm just fed up with finishing other peoples' work :P You can do it if you really try, Gelatop, but it's not easy.
