I really don't know why I should care. The royal family of Britain doesn't even matter much anymore.

@JDL- Yeah, the royal family is really just a figurehead nowadays. There's not even any power associated with modern royalty.

It only made me a bit depressed. We've spent hundreds of years striving for democracy, but the wedding shows that what Britons really want is to be ruled by the nobility again.

Also, since I'm self-employed, I didn't technically get a holiday, and the shops shut early, so it was a bit of an inconvenience XD
