Feebas related evolutions?

Feebas related evolutions?

Something struck me.

Since there are no contests in Bombur, which in-turn means no pokeblocks/poffins, then feebas and others like it CAN'T EVOLVE!!!

How do we solve this?

There are PokeBlocks/Poffins, as shown by Parracall which evolves from Parrapeet with max Smartness. Which is why I originally thought it was called Parracell, as in brain cell.

Indeed, the lack of contests doesn't imply lack of Pokéblocks and Poffins, in fact you could use any of the two.

In addition, there are other ways to raise non-battle stats, as shown in the newest Pokémon Versions Heart Gold and Soul Silver where you can raise Feebas's Beauty stat with haircuts.

Not to mention Daisy Oaks massages. Perhaps to get Parracall's intelligence up you have to force it watch educational television. :P

It can be done easily: just have your character meet one, it's not forbidden. Just treat it like one of the "characters of the day" from the anime, not everyone has to play a large role in Bombur's grand scheme of things, regardless of their abilities.

I think there's a Barboach evo (that wasn't orignally a Barboach evo but when Nintendo made Barboach they made it one) that evolves with max Smartness points.

Maybe we should have a list, like the move tutors, of people that give these traits to pokemon. Stat Specialists maybe?

Are you sure it shouldn't be trade with King's Rock?
On an on-topic note, maybe there could be an All-Purpose Spa or something somewhere in Bombur where there are five people that each do something to a Pokemon of your choice (like a massage or haircut) to raise one of the five Contest stats.

Just wondering, but if there are supposedly Poffins and such in Bombur, does that mean there are Berry plants too?

If you've read the RPG I'm in (or the one I'm cameoing in) I've plucked Pecha Berries from random bushes. So I'm going to say yes, there are, but they aren't at all signifigant like in Hoenn & Sinnoh.

Regarding Mulezer and Donking: Mulezer represents the stereotype donkey with a low intelligence; Donking, on the other hand, is amazingly smart: lots of pokémon with issues try and find it, because it almost always has an answer.
Thus, even though the King's Rock could be nice, using smartness points is even more fitting.
