Yes, that's right. At 7 o'clock A.M. on Thursday, me and my family will be leaving to Pennsylvania for Independence Day (why do they call it the 4th of July? It's such a dumb name), which also HAPPENS to be my grandfather (on my mom's side)'s birthday. None of them have computers (except for my grandma (on my mom's side, again), but she doesn't use it because it disrupts the phone line), so I won't be on PF until next Tuesday. I'll still be online Wednesday and today, but I won't be in the period of time mentioned above. I just thought I'd warn you before you're all, "Where's omega?" and stuff, and I didn't want you to be worried. Later.

Oh dear, something just turned up...My neighbors had their house broken into. The robber jumped over the fence, broke the window, and moved all the stuff around in the grandmother's room. Not sure if they stole anything or not...And just last week, my family's car was broken into, but they didn't find anything interesting, so in the morning, my parents found the car doors open and stuff all around the car. And we're going to be gone for a while, so.......

*stares blankly at the computer for ten minutes*

.....

EDIT: False alarm! There would have been police if someone had REALLY been there. We're still going tomorrow.

(Not going to do this the nice way, huh? Fine then, we do it the not-nice way.)

Inside the computer systems at the PokÃ©mon Factory HQ, an alarm started beeping. "Wha-" Poryhedron noted the alarm's source. "Aaron's lost possession of his Basic Gym team Nevermore!? How'd that happen?" Immediately Poryhedron ducked into the wireless router, and at the speed of light, transferred itself to the network servers in Anchore Lab.

Checking security camera feeds, Poryhedron spotted the "novice" trainer with what seemed to be a Snag Machine variant. "Geez, what happened to the days when ne'erdowells snuck in through back windows and stole unattended pokÃ©balls?"

Noting the exact geographical location of the altered pokÃ©ball, Poryhedron jumped from the Lab into the island's pokÃ©mon storage network and then straight into the PokÃ©ball holding Nevermore. A quick alteration of the ball's coding caused it to transfer Nevermore back into Aaron's pokÃ©mon storage account. A second alteration introduced a bizarre glitch that left the ball unable to open or recall pokÃ©mon.

Poryhedron had one more trick up its nonexistant sleeve. Scanning the changes this "Shadow Baller" had made to the pokÃ©ball, it found the wireless channel the device used to interface with pokÃ©balls. Bouncing from the pokÃ©ball to the storage network to the Lab's servers and then into a wireless signal scanner, it used the channel data to transfer itself directly into the Shadow Baller. A few fun little tweaks later, Poryhedron rode the channel back from the device to the nearest pokÃ©ball (which happened to be Vulcant's) and back to the storage network, where it sent Nevermore back into Aaron's pokÃ©ball as an afterthought.

Two seconds later, the Shadow Baller kicked into overdrive, flipping Vulcant's pokÃ©ball between Storage and Deployment sizes at a rapid rate. Nikko tried to shut the device off, but it didn't seem to be responding to any of its controls...finally the Shadow Baller's CPU overheated, there was a pop, and smoke started pouring out of the now-useless device.

Yeah. He was in the garage, with the garage door opened just enough for him to get out. But dad got worried, because he was afraid someone would be all like "Hey the garage door's open, let's try and sneek around back", so he closed the garage door and opened the door from the garage to the rest of the house, so he could let the cat have the run of the house. But he wasn't sure if he did that, so if he didn't do that, no food or water for Sid. My cat's name is Sid, by the way. NO, NOT AFTER THE ICE AGE CHARACTER. But Sid turned out OK.
