I just want to ask how did three PF pokemon (they were named Pandough, Rhinox and Chromnium I think) end up on the fake pokemon page on serebii.net?

And also, Why did the GSC pokemon get approved so fast?

Pandough, Rhinox and Chromnium were some of the so-called April Fools pokmon, made to trick people into believing they were new pokmon for an upcoming game. PF made a deal with Serebii: we made dexes of them as Special Editions to Serebii.net and Serebii would show them on his site. So, they were never owned by PF, they're just Special Editions.

And in the GSC area things were just different. The period of fast approval probably lacked a truly severe backlog and there weren't really many side-projects for us to work on.

The May Hack was a hacking of ezBoard that took place in May of...hm...I don't recall which year any more. Mind-bogglingly vast amounts of data were lost across all of ezBoard (think millions of boards, from entertainment boards like this one to singles dating centers to things as serious as cancer support groups.) Some of the posts were recoverable; many many posts were not. And since we were using this board as the chief archive of past suggestions, we lost hundreds of pokmon that had been approved but not yet dexed. Very troubling for us...but think of how much worse it was for the cancer support groups and other boards on which peoples' very lives depended.

Yikes.... Is Nekorb making sure that this site doesn't have anything happen to it? I mean, he/she's responsible for preventing things from being hacked, right?
