Re: The Johto Reprise (reply) Jhonen looked surprised as the small black bird flew in for another Tackle, striking Aeos with the charge. Jhonen mused that for it to have survived two hits from his Ponyta the Nevermore had to have been both lucky and... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) Motor Drive it is then. So we have the family's names, looks, movesets, abilities, etc. I think the only thing left is to develop 8 Dex Entries for them. How exciting ^^ |

Re: The Johto Reprise (reply) Aoes took the blow stubbornly, rearing up on hind legs as the small bird pecked at the flaming pony. It fell back onto all four feet as Jhonen smirked, confident that at the levels they were fighting at a single Tackle from Aeos would... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) Motor Drive is great for swapping in on Electric attacks, but has no benefit whatsoever over Speed Boost because swapping in with either results in an Electric hit on an Immune and then boosting Speed 1 stage. The benefit of Speed Boost... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) I like your suggestions, for the most part. I mainly just think they should have more Basic/Start moves in general, as it seems most end-stage pokemon do so. And this is without the ability to learn the moves of their previous forms... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) Hrm, here are my thoughts. Leave Tesforce as straight Electric, like EP said. Give it Static/Huge Power as its abilities, replace Cross Chop with Close Combat and ExtremeSpeed with Ice Punch for superior type coverage. For Tescilator,... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) Well, I love them, they look fantastic. I'm really satisfied with those looks. All that's left is to finalise the movelists/Abilities and make up some Dexes. As I've said previously, I like Sniper as an ability, but am more than happy to... |

Re: Girafarig's Tail (reply) I think Protector + Iron Tail can cover Steel-type. Have it level up holding Protector whilst knowing Iron Tail. Then you have armor + metal. Mostly, I just want to avoid Metal Coat because the list of Metal Coat evolutions is long... |

Re: Girafarig's Tail (reply) Personally, I hate the idea of evolution items for single pokemon unless there is absolutely no way it could be used by any other Pokemon. Porygon's items are a good example, as it's the only Data pokemon. But protector is just "stiff... |

Re: Girafarig's Tail (reply) It shouldn't, unless you're pronouncing Iron wrong. Irony has an EYE-RON-EE sound, where Iron should be pronounced 'aɪɚn'. There's almost no pronunciation of the r in a proper pronunciation of Iron. It sounds a lot more like ion... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) I really love those designs, and can't wait to see them colored. I like the fact it blends aspects of Alex's and EP's designs in with your own, and resolves the whole "too cyborg" issue. As to whether Tescilator is, as Alex says, too... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) Just because I clarified why Sniper still makes sense doesn't mean the suggestion is still rejected outright. I thought you didn't like Sniper because you didn't think it could snipe anymore, and that by clarifying it could still snipe... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) In no way did I say it didn't fire particles. I said it doesn't shoot energy rays. It still launches the metal projectiles by magnetic propulsion, and as such is still a sniper. I can see where the misunderstanding may have come from... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) What do you mean it's not a sniper anymore Flars? It still has a cannon, it still shoots projectiles, it's still based on the Teleforce. There's no reason to say it's not a sniper. It meets the 'requirements' (and I use the term loosely)... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) If Tesforce isn't going to be Electric/Light anymore, do you guys think that with Tescilator being Electric/Ground it needs a new secondary type? At the moment the only ideas I can think of are Electric/Steel and Electric/Fighting, which... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) Just my attempt at making Tesforce (as I am now calling him) a bit more beefy and like he could beat you to a pulp. Obviously the cannon/teleforce device is in the snout. A more obvious or longer snout may be needed to call more... |

Re: Will you get Black? Or White? (reply) Both of them disappoint because I had hoped for Light as a new type and thus I am sour at them not being Light and Dark :P But really, nah, I'll wait until the third one comes out, assuming there will be a third one. Pokemon Grey?... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) So I've just worked out why I'm so against the swap to Tesray - Special/Tescilator - Physical. it's because it betrays the core concept I started with, which was "Tesla's creations". Turns out the use of the term deathray, as the media... |

Re: Tesla's Toys (reply) So far I count: VL, EP, FoW in favour of keeping as is, and Greek, ShinE, Cacapulse and Alex in favour of changing it. I already know which way Flarsable will vote on it too, which is why i said there was no need for a vote as it's... |
