Re: Mamanbou  (reply)
When Mamabou was initially revealed I was certain that it was Luvdisc's evolution, but now I tend to think the opposite. Mamanbou seems to be a relatively common Pokémon that appears early-ish in the game from what we've seen of...

Re: Black and White versions  (reply)
I hope Stantler does evolve in this generation. Although if Shikijika is Stantler's pre-evolution, that may indeed cause some problems with Fawntler... Floundamor seems to be in the clear, though.

Re: Shooting Star Pokemon  (reply)
Well, you don't have to change the Pokémon's appearance; it's up to you in the end.

Re: Shooting Star Pokemon  (reply)
It's always possible to take inspiration from an animal or myth related to shooting stars or give it limbs or a body of some sort, etc. But in any case, the Pokémon's design is up to the creator, and it's ultimately up to the Factory...

Re: Electric Dragon  (reply)
Well, let's see. There's a number of things that need work. The classification of "Static Dragon" is too long; Pokémon classifications have a character limit of eleven, including spaces. "Static Dragon" is thirteen characters long, for...

Re: Ocean Queen Pokemon  (reply)
Wow, Aqueen has gone a long way since her inception! Congrats on sticking by your idea. You might want to pick an Egg Group for it, though. I'd recommend Fairy, Humanshape or both.

Re: Shooting Star Pokemon  (reply)
Might I recommend an appearance that does not boil down to a sphere with eyes? I've seen untold amounts of suggested Pokémon that look essentially like that...

Re: My Suggestion  (reply)
Apricot, please avoid double-posting.Illusion is the new ability of Zorua and Zoroark, two Pokémon that will appear in the upcoming Pokémon Black and White games. As far as we know, this ability allows them to take on the shape...

Re: Pokémon origins: Blurveryn  (reply)
Jigglyclops, as something to consider for the future, I think you should only post your ideas when you have time to post them in full; there's no rush, after all, and taking a day or two longer to flesh out or complete your concept isn't...

Re: I will leave this title too be named later.  (reply)
I think manipulating dimensions would be a bit overkill, and also make this enough of a Portal reference to move it awfully close to SE/gag territory.I was thinking that maybe this Pokémon's pre-evolution is very weak, but loveable...

From A Bad Seed: HAYMAKER Grass-type Category: Physical PP: 10 Power: 100 Accuracy: 90% The user mightily swings out with a fierce blow. The reckless move lowers the user’s speed, however.

Re: I will leave this title too be named later.  (reply)
Hmm... I don't think it'd be a good idea to drag an evil team into this. Smells of semi-legendary or something like that. But I like the idea of a Pokémon that evolves with the Protector into this, becoming much stronger but perhaps...

Re: I will leave this title too be named later.  (reply)
We already have a pretty fleshed-out evolution line based on the traditional depiction of the atom, and I'd say that's enough. For some reason "plasma" comes to mind when I look at it. Perhaps its body is a furnace that superheats...

Re: Black and White versions  (reply)
Judging by her outfit, and considering how they have been portrayed in anime in the past (see: Nakoruru and Horo Horo), I think this new girl might be based on the Ainu people. It would certainly be interesting if Isshu featured an...

Re: Ocean Queen Pokemon  (reply)
Now it just looks like a mermaid, really.I think it might be a better idea to re-work this from the ground up, basing the design off of an animal as opposed to a human.

Re: Ocean Queen Pokemon  (reply)
It still looks way too much like a human girl to be a Pokémon. If you look at some humanoid Pokémon like Mr. Mime, Jynx or Gardevoir, you'll notice that while they have a basically humanoid structure, their appearance and features...

Re: Your favorite of the NEWER Pokemon  (reply)
It was a work in progress, with several different Pokémon being considered; like Persian as Bast, Heracross as Khepri, Gardevoir as Isis, Luxray as Sekhmet, and Hippowdon as Taweret, among others. (So yeah, you guessed a bunch of 'em!)...

Re: My Suggestion  (reply)
Non-legendary Pokémon usually do not learn moves at higher levels than the early sixties. You might want to cut back on that.Nonetheless, there's something that worries me more. We... already have a lot of Pokémon that basically consist...

Re: Will you get Black? Or White?  (reply)
I'd try to sound prudent and say I'll get the third version when it comes out, but in truth I'm gonna get one of these two the second they come out. Not sure which one. I do prefer Zekrom over Reshiram (which just looks...
