If anyone wants to exchange some sort of way of staying in contact I'm all for it. I'm sure most of us have Skype, or Oovoo, or Tumblr/FB, Or KiK, or something. So we can at least have some way of staying in-touch in the event that PF resurrects. I won't post anything I have until someone responds.

Well, this is more or less what I'm doing, except I'm writing another RPGMaker to do it in.

I started a full time job about a year ago, severely curtailing my free time; over the last four months or so I've been organising to move house, so my time got reduced again (although it's as much about having the energy as the time). Any free time/brainpower has been put into 3dPE, a BW-style 3D Pokemon engine. It's going to be a set of creation tools to make the games, which I'm currently very slowly working on; they're coming along, and should be ready for public beta testing in a month or two. And yeah, we're going to make a PF game with it. As soon as I'm able, I'll be making Anchore Town for the third time, and posting lots of screenshots.

As for PF's future, it's clear that the old/current suggestions system has become untenable, through our own raised standards, and the way people work creatively on the web having evolved. Like we're-now-7-years-behind untenable. Luckily, my full time job is web developer, and i've got pretty good at it. I've got some plans for a new PF system and, when my damn schedule frees up, I should be able to knock something new and exciting together in a weekend or two. That's coming after 3D Anchore Town but before Finished PF Game.

Pokémon Factory VIP

Status update: I have now moved house, or rather, I have now refurbished enough of the house I moved into three months ago to have a desk again. Hooray!

What this means is that I can sprite again. I'd done Nymphetal and most of Maqueterra's formes before I left; I spent today adjusting them and added a few formes. There's one more to go but Mopp's concept art of it is too complicated. Then I need to update the site to allow for formes :/ I'm going to try to get Mopp and Cacapulse back on the wagon and get the DS archive finished.

3dPE turned out to be more than a few months from a public beta but there's alpha stuff over on the site; I've since started rewriting the map editing stuff to make it more integrated. There is a tumblr here. Currently stuck good and proper on how to make cliffs, hence starting spriting again!
