The evolutions of Fennekin & Froakie look incredible! (now I'm definately going with Fennekin). As for Chespin's evolution...it looks like a mix of opossum and acorn in the shape of a football. :/

My favoritism for the fairy type just got a boost! The types are more balanced (especially with a minor nerf for steel), and it seems even more liable to replace magic with it. The new starter evolutions are hit and miss, with chespin's being my least favorite. Fennekin reminds me of Taomon, and I now believe it will be fire/psychic. As for the new mega evolutions revealed... I'm intrigued that mewtwo has another one (which is version exclusive), but GARCHOMP?!? ... I was hoping no pseudo legends would get one... But now I think all will, making them more powerful then MORE legendary pokemon.

Ya chances are Dragonite Salamance and Hydregion are gonna get Mega Evolutions as well...I hope Raichu gets one, though. Why? Cause it's the evolved form of Pikachu, the company's MASCOT.

One month left as of yesterday. I imagine a lot of sites will have started their countdowns.

Furfrou...IDK about this Pokemon...it's obviously based on a poodle (the groomed forms do look spiffy). And I like Tyrunt, Pyroar, and Braixen (DEFINATELY gonna get Fennekin)

No way! Comp battling will most likely ban megas anyway, but the rest of the stuff is balancing things out immensely. Dragon immunity, buff for Poison, Grass-types can't be spored and Electric-types can't by paralyzed. It's really refreshing! No doubt there'll be some overpowered combinations that Game Freak couldn't forsee, but what's new? At least with the 3DS they can patch that stuff out if they want to.

The one thing I'm really hoping for is a nerf for Stealth Rock... it ruins lots of types. Don't know how likely that is, though.

Oh yeah, Stealth Rock. I SO hope they'll nerf that. Make it deal less damage or Normal-type damage instead of Rock-type damage. Let's cross our fingers!

That was more of a lighthearted statement that Garchomp is overpowered... I'm actually excited to see what the Gen 6 metagame has to offer with its new type.
