Ugh...I hate when people don't bother to stay consistent. Eventually, Pokemon may just peter out, ending up like Spore. (Okay, maybe I'm overreacting, but I think that just rereleasing a polished version of your latest game instead of something new is kinda lazy.)

My opinion:

I suppose the games had to catch up with the Anime.

I believe malonkey was referring to how instead of one new version there are two, and every time there has been two there have been six games in between for example, red, blue, right, then there's gold, silver, crystal, ruby, saphire, emerald, fire red, leaf green, diamond, pearl, platinum, black, white, and then here's the big one, instead of a third version 2 third versions :O electric boogaloo disco inferno. I can't say that it has the same effect on me, I quite like it. edit: I forgot to mention that Akuroma's hair looks like it's floating to me.

(I'm starting to doubt those names officialness (lol parenthesis in parenthesis in a spoiler and I just typed parenthesis anyway yeah officialness is a word.) but that doesn't matter I like them.)

(XD You were probably talking about those titles. Yes they were just jokes.)

What I was weirded out about was that malonkey seems to be under the impression that Pokemon Black 2and White 2, which are not remakes but sequels, offer less of "something new" than the traditional third version games such as Emerald or Platinum, which are remakes. B2W2 aren't just polished versions of their latest games.

Is it just me, or does Akuroma's name sound like a Romanji cognate of "Achroma"-- as in "Achromatic" (meaning "without color"). He may have something to do with Kyurem fusing with Zekrom/Reshiram, if my hunch is correct...

Also, how weird is it to fight a Pokemon green screen? I'm not quite sure how I'm going to like Pokewood and its battle-movies... but Mecha-GodzillaTyranitar looks pretty awesome.

Whoooo reviving old threads in an attempt to revive the forums and my relevance here.
If anyone didn't see, a bunch of other scans got released - version exclusives and such. Apparently Black 2 will have a water cave and White 2 a fire cave or something? And also, Keldeo Resolution form! Which really looks less like a form and more like an alternate design that got rejected.

Resolution Forme... are they just doing this so they can say they have more formes? The Kamis have new formes now, Kyurem has TWO new formes, pretty soon they'll make a Genesect whose forme differences are not just the cassette in its back. And Elesa's new outfit is fanservice. Should be an interesting game to play.

Just to clarify again, it's Resolution Form, not Resolution Forme. Same with its Usual Form.

The Japanese used has it as すがた over フォルム. The latter is what is normally used for "Form/Forme" while the first is new and just essentially means appearance.

It's not a form. I admit, I kept slipping up on it when we got the name at the weekend, but it's Form.

フォルム is used whenever the Pokémon's form is named "Forme" as per Deoxys, Meloetta, Tornadus etc
すがた is used whenever the Pokémon's form is named "Form" as per Basculin, Deerling, Castform etc

I hope that clears up things.

Also Elesa is a model. What doesn't make sense is Skyla's outfit.

Oh and Cheren replaced Lenora and Bianca gives you your Pokemon. Also there is Pokéwood and the international tournaments which look pretty cool. The Gyms are looking like this

New scans that outline all the things to do in southwest Unova before going to Castelia.
There's a scan of the new map there somewhere. Route 10 is gone and there's a new town or something to the north of Undella, which is the most likely location of the Water Gym.

Did no one see what the new "Home Town" will look like. It's a little more complex then before, you live in a city with more then 3 house and a Lab. I can't find the picture from where I saw but i'm still looking for it.

The starting town is actually a city called Hiogi City. And I can't wait for it too. Hope theirs a fair amount of fan service in it.... *insert mental picture here*

Let me say this:
I saw that "PokeBeach" link, and I was amazed that you can get a Riolu so early in the game; according to the scan, you get it before your 2nd Gym Battle!

You can also get Elekid and Magby depending on your version very early on the game. Elekid is unique to Black 2 and Magby is unique to White 2. You can also find Growlithe on the same route.
