bans are not always permanent. if a child does something wrong, you don't lock it in its room FOREVER because that's silly. only if it like, killed someone, would you lock it up forever, or maybe not even then? that's for the judge to decide.

1) Worse name you could think of for this fourm.
2) Many gremans liked Hitler during that era of time.
3) Why did you compare a child killing someone to this.
4) Why did you write "stop hurting donkeys you sicko" at the end.

Wow, you're so good at thinking!!

Perhaps you should read the post before mine.

1. That wasn't a sentence, but I'm sure it was an honest mistake. Could you explain what you meant?
2. While some easily influenced might have 'liked' Hitler, many of those under his command likely only obeyed him out of fear, given how power-wait why are we talking about hitler for god sakes
3. Just ignore the second half of that paragraph. It was an attempt at humour and doesn't further the metaphor I was using much.
4. I think he really wants to hurt donkeys and I wanted to express concern, for they are loyal and powerful animals. :'(
But again, this is all a humourous joke! I don't really think he harms donkeys. I apoligise, from now on, I will attach a warning tag before I make jokes, so that you may be better prepared.

I'm glad we can better each other here.

Alright, Flarsable is raising some good points here. PF is fundamentally child-friendly, and while we Pokengineers are used to weak trolling like this, it sets a bad example and has actually upset some members here.

Therefore JDLJDL is receiving an indefinite ban from the PF forums. Believe me, this hurts me more than it hurts you, because I'm going to be the one on the receiving end of nonsensical walls of text on IRC. Oh, and RGC will probably be receiving profane gibberish too, even though he had nothing to do with the decision. Sorry.

That's not actually an argument. You haven't addressed streak's point at all.

Also Bonzai - that is not only proably a wise move, but ties in to classic marvel comics EVEN MORE.

like i said, the reasons stated for getting "dfklgjdsfklgj" at jdl with this thread specifically are bad, but when you account for his cumulative forum career, ban's not that unwarranted

also flarsy i'm not even going to go there because otherwise this thread will become even more bloated than it already is

luckily i'm not actually in the mood for a proper argument because instead i'm in the mood for terrible, extensive photoshop

Hi guys. I wanna give my opinion on this.

Was JDL trolling? Yeah. Was it a joke? Yeah.

Does that mean this should go unpunished? No way, man. In this case, I agree with ZeroChill - it was just knowing that the joke this time had gone too far, and we can't just dismiss it as "haha that JDL he's so wacky" and do nothing. So yeah, I totally agree with the ban in this situation. Also, trust me - JDL won't care at all that he got banned, since all he does on the forum anymore is troll anyways. He'll just bug us on irc.

What Flarsy did wasn't backseat moderating. Streak's clarification on the term was right, but in this case Flarsy really was just saying the obvious - it would be pretty friggin stupid to not ban JDL for this.

Anyways, I'm locking this topic now because I don't think any useful conversation will come from it anymore.

Also, hi. I guess I'm gonna try and be active on the forums again.
