For Boss Battle music, there's "Mors Ego Sum Mortis", "Fuga Kefka", and "Sprach Kefka". All three movements of the most epic video game music ever: Dancing Mad.

For field music (plays while your exploring but not battling), I think my favorite piece of game music would have to be The Silent Forest. It accurately portrays the mood of the world (and the story to go along with it).

And finally, for just normal battle music, I think my favorite so far has to be He's A Pirate from Kingdom Hearts II. I loved those movies, so bashing baddies to it makes me smile a tiny bit on the inside.

And now for what could be the best RPG final boss music ever and a classic of the genre. It's not really my favorite, but apparently it was the first to inspire some VG music composers to make their final boss battle tunes grand, majestic or "epic" if you will, Uematsu himself included. Some of my favorite older soundtracks are Mega Man 2, Castlevania, Banjo-Kazooie, Chrono Trigger, Street Fighter II, and Banjo-Kazooie (all of which I've never played :P). In more recent years, I've really liked the music of the Halo series, the Pokemon series, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Uncharted 2 (never played), World of Warcraft, and Metal Gear Solid (never played).

Even though I never played the game, I really love Final Fantasy VI's "Decisive Battle".

Pokemon favourites:
All the creepy ones. Future versions disappoint with a lack of these kinds of tunes.

Even though the track itself doesn't appear in any of the Kingdom Hearts games, The 13th Anthology takes a bunch of the really good ones and remixes them together into one long track of pure AWESOME.

I think that Battle of Origins is a good one, as far as semi-creepy music goes. I'm also partial to Legendary Clash. Call me a sucker for Legendary battles... Oh, one more: Virus from the Void is a good one from Gen III.

If you want extended version, BrawlBRSTMs has quite a few of those songs extended to either 30 or 15.5 minutes.

I've just heard of the Black Baron but never played MadWorld, rap never looked better in a game. And I love We're Finally Cowboys and Lechku and Nechku's theme!

Obviously we share a like, love or adoration for Pokémon games. But I've not known many people who played the TCG game GBC... game.
