Sorry for double posting, but I want to say something. I beat the game a day ago, after an intensely epic battle against N and Ghetsis (who is now one of my favorite characters in the series, and [sarcasm] a model parent and political figure [/sarcasm]), and decidely couldn't wait to explore places like the White Forest and etc.

So I took my all lvl. 50's team out to play in the Forest, and what do I find? Trainers with Level 65 Oddishes and Lotads. Black and White just became one of my least favorite Pokemon games. Game Freak, I am dissapointed.

If Game Freak improves one thing in the third version, they should give us a VS. Seeker, and not make the eastern side of the reigon not full of the toughest people in the game. What happened to that golden difficulty curve I saw in the aftergame for D/P/Pt (aka the best Pokemon games I've ever played since the originals) or HG/SS? (trainer-wise for HG/SS, albeit. The most I saw in Kanto was the same Lvl. 18 Meowth I saw in R/B/Y, G/S/C, and FR/LG. Then I just used Max Repels for the rest of the game)

I know what happened! GameFreak expects us to have 2 DS' at our disposal so we can Pokeshift our critters from Generation IV and III (through Generation IV, of course. Notably, the game registers Hoenn as a legitamite place, making the possibility of remakes set in concrete. Kanto is listed solely for HG/SS' sake. A remake of a remake would just make this series look bad.), and then, only then can we have any fun between beating Ghetsis, and defeating Alder (or, more appropriately, Vin Diesel, Mr.T, and Chuck Norris' Pokemon counterpart, who I constantly gave a badass cowboy accent to whilist voicing the game as I play) and Cynthia (who ran off to Unova after Dawn, Lucas, and Barry told their parents about her mole-- I mean.... kissing them?), and catching/killing off Kyuurem, the your-version-exclusive Genie, and the Three Muskequeers.

Of course, I'm still up to catching 'em all. Bring it on, sucky B&W aftergame. I can take it. But you better be ready for everything lurking on my uberhax SoulSilver save, which I can't wait to restart so I can spend the summer running around all of Massachussets with a PokeWalker again, jogging away the pain of knowing that B&W actually deserved that 7.5 it got from Gamespot.

So, case and point kids. Whatever you do, train the *%%$ out of your favorite Pokemon before you even DARE to step near the aftergame zone, or else you'll be as dissapointed and shocked as me. (Except for the fact that there's the possibility of catching Lvl. 70 Pokemon with enough walking and surfing around, most of these of which are at the Village Bridge)

Nope. If you want to do well, you should have all your POkemon at at least Level 45 each. Once the big guy goes down, you're going to be fighting through the E4 with Pokemon 10-15 levels weaker than their weakest Pokemon (Level 48). Grind your guts out RBY style and you should be okay. Of coure, N and Ghetsis will be hard to beat.

  If the game had a Vs. Seeker or a PokeGear/Nav it would. So you'll have to wildgrind until all your Pokes are level 45 at least. Unless you want to be a wuss and use an Action Replay Code to get 999 Rare Candies.

It's going to be hell on Earth when you reach Grimsley. You should replace that Deino with a Mienshao to help you out. It also comes in handy to have a Fighting type during the Ghetsis battle, since his Hydreigon is pretty damn tough (even though it has a childish moveset as if it were a Dragonite from RBY, with Surf and Fire Blast to name two moves that were thrown at me).

  

RBY style: As in the first generation, when good moves were scarce, and many a Pokemon had to be trained via fighting the E4, or grinding in the wild. Due to a lack of TMS, many powerful ones back then had moves such as Surf, Fire Blast, Thunder, or Blizzard on them, due to their high attack power, chance of freezing, and accessibility (Surf is an HM, the other three could be bought at the department store).
