The amount of rainwater & sunlight needed to make the rainbows floods the Earth and then disintegrates it. You drown before the rainbows appear, too.

I wish that a giant earthquake destroyed all trolls and their troll caves.

It is revealed that you are a troll, and your dwelling is actually over a secret cave containing precious diamonds and other minerals. With your internet access!!! You faint from shock of this revelation, yet somehow manage to remain conscious enough to feel all the pain as your body is ripped apart from the eternally-churning ground. You scream, but nobody hears you over the roar of the Earth's tectonic plates. You die a slow, painful death, with no one to comfort you in your last few moments of torchered life.

I wish for better art skills.

You suddenly have better art skills, but of a huge magnitude. In one swift motion of your hand , you command the very shape and sounds of the universe, making all other artists' art, music, literature, pottery, and any other art form become obsolete. In a magnificent rage, they form an alliance to end the master that is you. Holding hands and thick metal shields, they group together, forming a formidable 50 km tall artist cyborg (lulwut). You and the cyborg fight for centuries, casting seas of paint and atmospheres of music. With one pencil and a paper, and the swift motion of a writing hand, you create a ballad so beautiful, so full with emotion that the very Earth separates in two, the ever-growing fissure swallowing the artist cyborg.

Everybody died.

I wish for a wish-fulfilling monkey's paw.

(That is probably the most epic way for an artist to die ever.)
You recieve one, that grants you the most extravangant wishes. In your excitement, you wish for everything you have ever desired in a span of three seconds, all of them turning out to be much better than you could ever imagine. But, as you go into your perfect mansion to meet your absolutely amazing wife, the monkey's paw glows a horrid red color, and a monkey's howl of bloodlust is heard. You turn around in a frenzy, only to see nothing. The monkey's paw floats out of your back pocket just as you let your guard down. The deadly wish-giver slowly approaches your neck, and, suddenly, grabs you from the back of your neck, strangling you to death, with you remembering how much you would loved to meet your new perfect world, as you slowly drift to the realms of Hell.

I wish that I could be best friends with Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter.

You get the ability to cast the killing curse without a wand, but, when reading the fourth Harry Potter book aloud to a preschooler for some unkown reason, you accidentally kill the child and become a widely-known mass murderer, who is sent to death.

I wish that everybody got my Harry Potter references.

They all say that it is the worst thing ever and you should F off. It is so harsh that you commit suicide (note I don't actually mean this but that's what other people would actually say about things they don't like).
