At the rate this is going, there'll be an update every three weeks. That means the page will be done near the middle of September. Black & White will pretty much be otu by then. We'll have about 80 Pokemon done by the time it comes out here, if my prediction is correct. That's bad.

Indeed. After all, the last two updates were consecutive, weren't they? Anyway, ShinE hasn't been able to access the board today, so I'm confirming on behalf of him that there won't be an update today. However, I'm also ready to announce that there WILL be an update next Sunday... a grand total of FIVE new dexes. I think I won't need to mention what they are. So stay tuned!

YEAH FARFETCH'DVOLUTIONS.
Ahem.
To be honest, I'm even more excited than usual for a reason - until now, to me at least Concreate and Piedreate, who are great pokemon, have been the unofficial mascots of PF, being the most documented. But now... these guys should be seen as the mascots, in my opinion. They represent all the creativity we're about. Their designs are great, they correlate to each other perfectly, etc. etc. Anyways, super-duper-psyched.

He means in Japan. And I am also very excited about the Farfetch'dvolutions getting sprited. Espicially 'Mpossible, being it is a swan, my favorite water fowl, and it is part Magic-type. Bamboozl'd comes in a close second, mainly because it has bamboo.

I think the Dou'tful and Bambooz'l's held items need to be changed/edited. Why?

Dou'tful's item, the thick club, is cubone line exclusive, so no-one else can access the properties. I say create a new bone-line item that has more expanded effects.

Bambooz'l's item, the bamboo shot, is good, but it is an item that is disposable (since it's healing exclusive). An effect add-on is be needed.

No one said that the Thick Club is exclusive to the Cubone line. They just happen to be the only line that revolves around bones that isn't a fish. And because the Bamboo's desposable, soble, it means you can get more of it, so it doesn't really matter.

What I mean by exclusive is that the Thick Club's effects are restricted to the Cubone line.

This is just my own point of view, and I can't speak for the views of the rest of the staff. But I think the fact that it's in-battle effect is restricted to the Cubone line doesn't matter, since there are items that evolve pokemon and have no in-battle effect at all. Upgrade and Dragon Scale, for example. So I don't believe a pokemon has to gain an in-battle effect from an item to be able to evolve using it.

Of course, an easy solution would be to say that in Bombur the effects of the Thick Club work on Dou'tfowl as well. That way, all of the Farfetch'd evos can hold the item they evolve with and gain something by holding it. With that in mind, it's probably wise to add a little effect to the Bamboo Shoot.

Anyways, I know it's technically not yet Sunday for you guys, but it is over here in the Netherlands, and since I will be out of town tomorrow, let's make this an early update ^^

The Farfetch'd Five have appeared!

(P.S. I'll add the items to the New Items page tomorrow; and the same goes for adding the sprites of the Farfetch'd Five to the National Dex.)
