A long-awaited update is here! The winner of the last Random Pokémon Contest, #PF123 Wattsalisk, has appeared in the SuperDex and brought its family members with it.

But that is not all. The SuperDex has seen an update itself: all DP-style entries have been changed and now feature long-lost sections, such as Egg sprites, Shadow sprites, wild Items and Berries and HM, TM and MT sections!

How is Electagecko able to learn Dying Embers and Lake of Life? Since Wattsalisk is a Dragon-type and Dragon-types are known for their versatile movesets, learning those moves would be plausible, but for an Electric-type first-stage gecko, it does seem odd.

EDIT: Additionally, Skircuit breeds Youthistle.

They are in the Draconic egg line. As such all of the Wattsalisk's pre-evolutions got the same ability to learn fire-based TM moves.

I've fixed Skircuit's error.

Squirrelay is right. Also, as for Lake of Life, the move works differently than its name makes you think it does. A broad array of pokémon will be able to learn it by TM. Only Dark-, Ghost-, Poison- and Fire-types will not be able to learn it.

Also, thanks to Antarctros and Squirrelay for helping me out with the coding of these pages.

I personally think that the gender differences for Skircuit and Wattsalisk turned out pretty cool :D

And wow Wattsalisk looks brutal...
The dex says that raw energy pours from its eyes and mouth... that's light. Wow... a glowing mouth...

I thought all dragons can learn draco meteor. Wattsallisk doesn't seem to.

The bigger horn does look pretty good. On thing that maybe should be clarified though is which is male and female.

There are two easy ways to do that:
One: hover ove rthe picture
Two: Compare them to the Rhyhorn line.

"Tameness" is another, and some would say a more accurate, name for Happiness, the hidden stat that controls things like Pichu and Golbat evolving into Pikachu and Crobat, and the strength of the Return attack. The reason for the different term is the fact that what is usually called "Happiness" actually relates more specifically to how much the pokémon likes and trusts you, the trainer.

Tameness is how much happiness that a pokemon has when you first catch it.

That's a good point about Wattsalisk soble. That should be changed as well.

When you hover over both sprites, a sign will pop up. It says, for example, "Wattsalisk male" or "Wattsalisk female" to make clear which is which. I figured that suffices; did you see that too, EP?

And soble, good point! I'll add Draco Meteor to Wattsalisk's entry ^-^

I've seen your post, but there is in fact such a label, in the form of a pop-up label, when you hover over their sprites. That seemed to me to be a better solution than placing male and female symbols next to the sprites.

ShinEdit: check out the main page of the SuperDex; I've stated which is which there. Does that help?

Also, are you guys happy about the return of stuff like Egg sprites and Shadow sprites?

I miss Shadow Moves, but in retrospect they weren't all that useful anyway I guess =p Shadow Wattalisk is awesome.

Yeah, the shadow moves weren't that useful; and now it's up to your own imagination which shadow moves a shadow pokémon can learn, which allows for more creativity ^^

Indeed, I'd sure wouldn't want to come across a shadow Wattsalisk :o

Wonderful adaptation of my old spites. I curious if you ever thought of making the new animated sprites for the super dexes. The ones for when the Pokemon walks behind you in HG/SS. I would be interested in assisting in the process.
