I'm going to start my Heart Gold with the team I just finished breeding last night; 1st and 4th gen Eeveelutions + Aerodactyl. Covers HM usage nicely(well, only Surf and Fly are *that* much necessary) All of them with relatively evil movesets-to-be, naturally. Though now I have to figure out what to do in the meanwhile since I don't feel like going through Pearl again(I train my pokemon to near-100 by going through in-game(s) since I have the access to two DS's relatively often). Other than try to settle on just how many Lanturn/Kingdra/Lapras/Cradily variants(I like my bulky water and grass types, wouldn't you know?) I will put out before fifth gen...

Curse you, late European release dates!

Yes, I agree that later European release dates are annoying, but in a more broad sense. I wish they would just hold the games until all the releases are ready and do a huge worldwide launch. It would be epic.

Unfortunately, I won't be getting HG or SS for awhile due to: a. I'm broke and owe my mom money, and b. my DS was stolen a couple weeks ago.

I tame the burninators.

Here's how the Slakoth line really goes through evolution:

Slakoth drinks a Red Bull, causing it to get hyper and evolve into Vigoroth.
The caffeine rush ends, causing Vigoroth to evolve into Slaking.

@JDLJDL: It's probably not the smartest idea posting that you have an emulator, which are illegal.

Since I have already beaten the games up to the second elite four challenge I haven't been playing as vigorously and haven't even beaten Falkner. :S

Does anyone else play the way I do? I pretty much use only my starter, making it the sole powerful Pokemon on my team, and have a bunch of HM slaves. And, then, at the end of the game, when I don't need to use HMs as much, I fill up my team with legendaries and other high leveled Pokemon that I have. In the past couple Pokemon games, I've beaten the Elite Four solely with my starter just because he's such a higher level than they are.

My friend does that, but it takes the fun out of the game for me - using different unique pokemon is what makes it interesting.

Two of my friends have the game; one is about to catch Lugia (he has SoulSilver) (I inspired him to try and beat the Komono sisters again and it worked) (he already beat Clair lol), and the other one is about to beat Pryce, I think (he has HeartGold)
