If you choose the path of the Free Spirited Pokmon, you will begin in the Forest of Manifold as any other day in the care free life of a Pokmon. Pokmon are very in tune with the balance of nature. Something new is disturbing this balance. What is it? That is what you are setting to find out. Avoid immature trainers and other Pokmon under the influence of some dark force on your way to discovering what is behind this natural disturbance. Pick up new friends along the way.

First I found Ditto, which led to the discovery of my metamorphing powers. Ditto also inspired me to create new species where I had devoured old ones. My first Pokmon was a small teddy bear like Pokmon called fuzzy. Fuzzy and Ditto have long since passed on. Their children have been with me for some time. They are quite loyal and keep great company.
Recently my path crossed the presence of the great Culthulhu. He inquired my assistance in the rebirth of a place where new species are created. I offered the use of the continent I had been creating for centuries and everything was set. I was part of a greater plan; part of the Pokmon Factory.
Recently, however, Schimre was mysteriously called to an ancient and secret place. A place few have laid eyes on and remembered: The Valley. It is the main part of the Bombur continent; creating this little oasis of tranquility disturbed the balance of forces on Bombur, making impossibly dark deserts, tundra so cold your breath freezes in the air in front of you, and volcanos hot enough to vaporize most metals.
The whole of the continent relies on the Valley, and the strange new evil is not limited to taking over Pokmon...
