If you choose the path of a Pokmon Trainer, you will begin in the class of Prof Idaho in the town of Anchore. There is one more class to complete before graduation and the time has come to make your choice. There has been a recent complication, however: Prof Idaho was recently called away on business, so the lab and the school are under the custody of the professor's protg, Aaron. He will be taking care of you in the weeks to come until Prof Idaho's return.

So, which Pokmon will you choose?
Youthistle- This grass type is very friendly and will take right to a new trainer. They do not like to be handled too much, which is just as well since they do have quite a few sharp points. Grass.
Comolten- A fire type is a great way to get a head start. It is very fast and can be a handful to keep track of, but it is otherwise obedient. Fire, stage 3 is Fire/Steel.
Sukus- Trainers searching for a challenge should choose this water type. It is slow and often disobedient to inexperienced trainers, but if trained properly will grow into quite a formidable ally. Trainer be warned, Sukus is a blood sucker. Water.
Holliguana- This grass type is very friendly, and willingly obeys even the most inexperienced trainers, sometimes to its own detriment. However, in bright sunlight, it tends to become lethargic. Grass/Poison.
Xoskillitn- This Fire type is a challenge to raise, but will turn into a strong, fast fighter. Handling too much is not recommended; not only does it have a pair of sharp pincers, it also excretes a flammable liquid from its rear when surprised, or frightened. Or worried. Or just cold. Fire/Poison.
Ninemone- This pokmon is timid, but good natured. If you have patience to deal with a pokmon that would rather hide than attack, this is the pokmon for you - if evolves faster than others quickly into a strong companion. Water.
Random- There are a few other Pokballs that we have laying around. They could contain anything from a Magikarp to a Dratini. You will not know what you are getting. Good for trainers who like surprises.

Remember, your choice will affect your destiny, and always, always, be careful: There are rumours that there is a crime syndicate moving into the Bombur region. But, above all, have fun! Your destiny is just that - yours.

There are three crime syndicates for trainers to beware of. And they didn't move in recently; operatives have infiltrated most organisations on the island. Here is what we know.
Team Lotus: Led by a martial arts master. Members use Psychic-types, and while they are not violent in themselves, do not hesitate to use pokmon to hurt people.
Team Uppercut: Led by a burly street-fighter. Members use Fighting-types, and are usually petty criminals who had nowhere else to go.
Team Shadow: Led by a master thief. Members use Dark-types, and are usually experienced thieves who are greedy for more.
teams have been known to exploit pokmon for monetary gain, but it is suspected that they each have a bigger goal. It is not known whether these are linked.
